Welcome to 50 and beyond

Hi

Lets start with Age.
At the time of writing this am 55 years old and I find it hard to believe just how fast time goes.
maybe you do too? but there is nothing we can do to stop it until the time machine is invented?
each one of us is different and I think we all want to live as long and as healthy as possible.

I would not really consider myself as a fit young looking guy for my age, I would need some new glasses for sure, but I do work with a lot of guys my age and out of 60 odd guys there are only 5 or 6 that I would say look good for their age, to me the answer for this is lifestyle and lucky genes.

I personal think that your lifestyle and genes are passed on form your parents, if you have a long line of generations living over 80 or even into the 100 then you most likely have the genes of longevity.
next and very important in this modem day is lifestyle, I was born in 1964 to a very poor family and with 3 brothers and 4 sisters it was not a small family, food was always home cooked and it wasn't until the late 70's that I had my first chines takeaway at a costly 50p for a beef curry and boiled rice which was expensive to me, seem to remember a pint of beer was 15p or 20p, No am not going down " I remember when road" .

back to present day. I am specking just for myself here but I think it's the parents reasonably to bring they children up has healthy as possible the food we get from birth to what I would say late teens will help you in middle age and beyond, No I am no expert, just specking from my own experience. going back to the guys at work that do Not look good for their age and its down to diet, activity and circumstances .
YES circumstances over my year I have seen men and woman go from looking great to looking 10 or so years old than they are. Why lots of reasons from starting smoking to marriage brake-up there are so meany circumstances that can and will effect your life, emotional, physiological, social and physical all take they toll on the body and now with stress becoming one of the top reasons people go off sick at work its no wonder some people are crying out for direction.

I am hoping to put a lot of things on my blog page /website regarding keeping healthy, keeping safe and having a better life.
